We are a community of changed people seeking to change lives with and through the love of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
Where will the church be planted?
Liberty Community Church will be planted in the Liberty Township/Monroe area. The demographic studies reveal there a community ripe for the Gospel: 85k live within 5 mile radius of town’s center. There are not enough seats inside a church building to house that many people in the area. LCC is being called to the area to join those on the ground to reach the lost by bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to them in a REAL, RELEVANT, and RELATIONAL way.
What kind of church will be planted?
In light of Jesus’s own mission stating, “I have come to seek and save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10) Liberty Community Church will be planted with the mission of reaching people with the love of Jesus. From preaching, to next gen, to outreach, everything we do will be filtered through this lens. Our motto is to be a church with 20/20 vision, where according to Acts 20:20, Paul said, “you know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publically and from house to house.” Small groups will be the primary way of helping folks experience spiritual formation into the image of Jesus.
Our vision is to be a community of changed people changing the world (one life at a time). In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus charges us to go into the world and make disciples. To do this well we will be inwardly devoted to those who come and outwardly focused on those yet to come. In order to change the world we must start with changing our world by serving and investing in those around us with the good news of Jesus Christ and God’s redeeming love.
